St Anton Nite Life is renowned around the skiing world. As well as being one of the top ski resorts in the world St.Anton also has a reputation for being one of the best party ski resorts in the world. So where should you go to if you want to party into the early hours of the morning? There are many bars and clubs in the village and everyone will have their own favourites so here we will just detail the main ones. For our guide to Apres Ski click here.
The Horny B
New to St.Anton for the 2015 / 16 season and replacing the Kandahar Niteclub that had been in town for many years. So the decor is all new and like Kandahar they attempt to offer you something of everything. Apres Ski from 6pm with food and music. The Horny Bull is open until the early hours and probably works best as a niteclub. They offer Deep & Vocal House music with international DJ’s from 11pm – 3am. It is to be found on the Dorfstrasse next door to the Sport Hotel and opposite the Post Hotel in the centre of the village.
Murrmel Bar
St Anton nite life does not get much better than when Gunnar sings at the Murrmel Bar & Club. To be found at the bottom of the Dorfstrasse next to the Spa Supermarket. Open from 4pm for apres ski and then the downstairs club opening up from 9pm. This intimate venue and Apres ski bar is very popular here as one of the best singers in town “Gunnar” plays most evenings. In our opinion when Gunnar is singing it has the best atmosphere and vibe to be found in the village.
Happy Valley Bar.
A large bar / Nite club at the top of the Dorfstrasse underneath Anthony’s Hotel. DJ’s and live music go hand in hand with parties in this modern American themed venue. It opens for apres ski at 6pm and then continues through until the early hours, closing at 3am.
Piccadilly & Post kellar.
Two places in one here. The Post Kellar is a bar and nightclub whereas the Piccadilly is an apres ski bar, late night bar and live music venue. They share the same entrance and you have to pay an entrance fee to get in. Both are very busy and get wilder as the night goes on. A good variety of dance music is played throughout the night until around 3am. The Piccadilly bar is open from 4pm – 8pm for après ski and live music. Then it becomes a late night bar reopening at 9pm at which point nobody can come in with ski gear on. You can find the Post Kellar and Piccadilly underneath the Post Hotel with the entrance next to Alber Sports.
Bobo’s
How to describe Bobo’s…. Well it is many things really, a restaurant, an apres ski bar, a late night bar and a nightclub. The restaurant serves Mexican food which is very good. the bar has a great bunch of staff who like to party with the customers until the early hours. Bobo’s has theme evenings ranging from karaoke to live music and DJs’. It is very popular with many of the ski instructors and locals so can get very busy as the evening progresses. It is also a hangout for the Swedish Seasonaires. To find Bobo’s head down the Dorfstrasse and you will find the Kristall Hotel & Dorfstub’n restaurant – Bobo’s is in the cellar underneath.
Scotty’s Bar
Scotty’s is part of the Mark Warner club Hotel Rosanna and is just off the main pedestrian street. It tends to be a lively hang out for the younger generation and ski bums. It is open for après ski and continues into the early hours of the morning. Plenty of cocktails and special vodka’s and if you are feeling peckish they serve Pizza’s. Run by Mark Warner, the staff are mainly English. If you turn off the pedestrian area into the little lane between the Sport Hotel and Gemeindeamt, you will find Scotty’s about 40 metres down on the right.
Bar Cuba
A steamy cellar bar specialising in cocktails – try the “Love Juice” or “Cuban Cocaine” which are their own creations! Whether it is for après ski or late night drinking this is a popular place to hang out. Bar Cuba opens at 4pm with live music between 4pm and 7pm. The atmosphere builds throughout the evening until full on party mode is reached, not stopping until the bar closes at 3am. They also show Football & Rugby matches. Snacks are available and an interesting little attraction is a self-service beer tap… don’t get too excited – you still have to pay for the beer!! You will find Bar Cuba adjacent to the Hotel Schwarzer Adler.
No you will need to change first
They all close around 3am
There is a take away burger stop in the centre
