There are four main airports that I recommend you consider flying into when planning your trip to St.Anton: Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Innsbruck or Zurich. Further info on these is to be found by clicking on the links in the sidebar on the top right of this page. You could also consider trying Basle, Salzburg, Munich & Stuttgart but these are further away from the resort.
If you are thinking of driving from the UK I can also advise you about this. However I would recommend flying rather than driving as it is a long way here and seems even further on the way home!
If you are also looking for somewhere to stay click here
We can also arrange AIRPORT TRANSFERS for you at the BEST PRICES whether it is for a few people of for a large group so for the best prices and info on airport transfers:
BRISTOL – Easyjet to Salzburg.
GATWICK – EasyJet to Zurich, Salzburg, Basle, Innsbruck & Munich.
HEATHROW – BA & Swiss Air to Zurich or Basle.
LIVERPOOL – EasyJet to Salzburg
LUTON – EasyJet to Innsbruck, Zurich & Salzburg.
MANCHESTER – Swiss Air – Zurich
STANSTED – Ryanair to Memmingen.
Also for those of you looking to fly from Eire: Ryanair fly to Memmingen, Salzburg & Basle from Dublin. Air Lingus fly to Zurich & Munich.
When you arrive at your chosen airport there are also several ways of reaching St.Anton. If you choose the car hire option there are a couple of things to bear in mind – there could be a lot of snow – have you driven in heavy snow before and are you familiar with the use of snow chains if the conditions are bad?? The car that you hire should be fitted with winter tyres as that is the law in Austria, Germany & Switzerland during the winter months. Finally just remember that in Europe they drive on the right hand side of the road!!
If you are planning to rent a car I would recommend that you check out RHINO CAR HIRE as I have found them to offer the best prices.
Plenty of information about the four main airports can be found by clicking on the links in the sidebar on the top right if you are using a pc and in the links at the bottom of this page if you are using a mobile phone or tablet.
